I was also responsible for developing the props and workflows used in the Techtonica Biomes. I provided concept art for various plants, which were divided into three categories: Cover plants, harvestable plants, and Points-of-Interest plants. In addition to concept art I provided sculpts and retopology to various assets and worked with the tech team to implement assets. Because we wanted Techtonica’s world to feel unique I also created a core set of tileable materials in Substance Designer that could be used to give the biome’s their signature look. I was able to leverage the same materials to create rocks that fit seamlessly into the environment.
