I was responsible for designing some of Techtonica's signature machines. Because all machines aligned with a grid, the exact placement of the inserter ports was necessary, so the initial concept was usually grey box 3D. It was also essential to exaggerate the machine’s unique mechanism to be recognized from a distance.
